Canon’s latest addition to the professional-tier ‘white lens’ line is the EF 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6L IS USM. This versatile compact zoom lens reduces the number of lenses a photographer needs to carry and features top-of-the-line optical performance. The ring-type Ultrasonic Motor works with with an inner focus system that moves only the lighter elements of the lens during autofocus to make movement remarkably quiet and quick.
The glass elements inside the EF 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6L IS USM are perfectly suited for digital photography. The coatings and shape of the lens are designed to minimize “ghosting” and flare.
